Ghost Train

Ok, I know… another post, apparently unrelated to aviation.

One week into October, it seems the silly season (for some of you) is fast approaching.

With this in mind, I’ve converted my garden railway into a spookified Ghost Train.

Ghostly goings-on

The actual layout is the same as before – but the scenery is almost unrecognizable. There’s spooks, skeletons, scary atmospheric sounds, eery fog, a thunderstorm, even a floating ghost ship.

Unfortunately, many of the sounds are drowned out by the rail-car noise, which can’t be turned off.

The ride takes about 5 minutes to go round but you can also explore the area on foot and take in the paranormal ambience.

Watch your step, to avoid the slow flowing lava, permeating the landscape.

As you pass through the graveyards, watch for the thunderstorm and hear the churchbell tolling midnight. Listen out for the unseen werewolf, on the prowl.

HERE’s THE AVIATION PART…

I’ve significantly updated the Halloween Hawk, for 2013. New version has the same amount of detail as before but doesnt require wearable attachments (or a HUD). Extra features: 3 tail particles (bat, witch and pumpkin), plus fog effects and extra sounds. Commands are now all via chat.

You can find the updated HH in my lucky chair, throughout October. Ghost train ride will also be open until end of the month.

Update 26 Oct 2013: Note that due to the popularity of the updated Halloween Hawk, I’ve added a second lucky chair. You now have double the chances of winning one, before 31st October.
